This is a welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with English-speaking service and charming decor. We were one adult and two small children and found that one appetizer and two main dishes were more than enough for a satisfying meal. Appetizer: - Lobster roll Main Dishes: - Brown butter gnocchi - Goat risotto My girls shared the lobster roll and the tasty gnocchi, which was topped with petals that made their eyes sparkle. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the risotto as much. Overall, it was a great experience, and I recommend this restaurant to any family.

We will definitely be back to The Lark! This is definitely in the top three for the best restaurants in Belleville. We went for our anniversary and had quality fresh food with lots of flavour, beautifully crafted cocktails and mocktails, and scrumptious dessert. The beef short rib Wellington was my favourite!

We dined at this restaurant last month. We had a long drive home but really wanted to slow down a bit and enjoy a nice meal. The Lark in Belleville (on Front Street) was perfect. They seated us at a 2 person table and made us feel very welcome. We chose the Table D'Hote (55/person). For starters, I had the salmon cakes that were dilly...just the way I love them! My eating companion had the insalata caprese that was presented beautifully and delicious! The two mains were brown butter gnocchi and beef cheeks pappardelle. Both were so flavourful! We shared a delightful dessert, ricotta cake (aka Pandoro Della Florentine). It was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. I read somewhere that they are known for their cocktails; however, we did not drink any alcohol as we had a long drive home. Take some extra time and check this place out.

Delicious food, but especially outstanding was the dark chocolate buddino!! Wow. That was a unique dessert! For main: had 1) asparagus risotto 2) smoked duck breast.

I booked a special date night reservation at this establishment after reviewing places to eat in the area. We were both blown away by our experience. Exceptional ambience, service and food. The wellington was by far the most tender meat I've ever had. We will definitely return next time we are in town.

Absolutely loved our experience at The Lark! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, intimate, and full of charm. The food was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, but the duck in particular was simply delicious. You can tell that every detail, from the menu to the decor, is crafted with care and passion. The owners are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. It’s rare to find a spot that delivers on every level—The Lark is truly a gem in Belleville. I strongly recommend making a reservation, as this place fills up quickly (and for good reason!).

We had the most amazing dinner. Beef carpaccio to start, cod al forno and beef cheek pappardelle as mains, and torte pina colada for dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The flavours all just worked well together. You know those special meals where you savour every bite, this was one of them. Our server Alex had good helpful suggestions for us as well. There was a very thoughtful list of wines and cocktails to choose from as well (we had a riesling). Definitely a meal we’ll remember and looking forward to returning next time we’re in Belleville!

This place is absolutely exceptional. If you want to have a fine, delicious and great dining experience: you should come here. They work on a fixed entry, main and dessert basic. The noquis were exceptional. The pasta was delicious. Everything top notch.
